5-Year Warranty Information for Husqvarna and Husqvarna Aspire Products

Effective Date: 15 October 2024

Applies to: Husqvarna and Husqvarna Aspire products sold for approved applications only.

Exclusions:

• Electric Pressure Washers - 1-year warranty only.
• Accessories - 6-month warranty only.

This extended warranty is available for all eligible Husqvarna products sold in conjunction with qualifying accessories. Please review the terms and conditions carefully to ensure compliance and maintain your coverage.

Warranty Requirements & Conditions

• Qualifying Accessory Purchase: Eligible products must be purchased with specific accessories at the time of sale (see qualification details below).
• Product Registration: All products must be registered on the Husqvarna Support Site Warranty Portal.
• Documentation: Sales invoice must show the purchase of qualifying accessories, and all Husqvarna products must be accompanied by a Warranty and Service Handbook (PNo. 578754101).

Service Records: All servicing must be recorded in the Warranty and Service Handbook. This record will be required for any warranty claims.

Qualification Requirements for Petrol-Powered Equipment

Trimmers, Brushcutters & Clearing Saws

• 1 x 1 Litre Husqvarna Two Stroke Oil 
• 1 x Large Donut of the correct diameter cutting line (for Trimmers & Brushcutters)
• 1 x Blade (for Clearing Saws)

Chainsaws & Pole Pruners

• 1 x 1 Litre Husqvarna Two Stroke Oil
• Spare Husqvarna X-Cut chain (No substitutions allowed)

Note: Products purchased without the above accessories will only qualify for a standard 1-year warranty.

Terms & Conditions

• Standard Warranty: Products without qualifying accessory purchases receive a 1-year warranty.
• Documentation: All necessary documents must be provided; failure to do so will result in standard warranty registration.
• New Purchases Only: The 5-year warranty is not retroactive to purchases made before 15 October 2024.
• Accessory Purchase Timing: Accessories must be purchased with the main product. Later accessory purchases are not eligible for this offer.
• Service Records & Proof of Purchase: These must be provided for any warranty claims. Lack of documentation may result in claim rejection.
• Genuine Parts Only: Only genuine Husqvarna accessories and parts are valid for warranty coverage.
• Multiple Product Purchases: Each product on a multi-product invoice must include its own qualifying accessory purchase.
• Future Purchases: Additional Husqvarna products must each have qualifying accessories, regardless of prior purchases.
• Standard Inclusions/Exclusions: Standard warranty terms apply to the extended warranty (refer to Husqvarna South Africa warranty policy).
• Hire & Rental Units: Only a 6-month warranty applies to rental units; the extended warranty is not available.
• Non-Transferable: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
• Scheduled Maintenance: Service and maintenance must follow the intervals recommended in the operator manual and Husqvarna Service Checklists.
• Authorized Servicing: All servicing must be performed by an authorized Husqvarna Service Dealer.
• No Self-Servicing: Self-servicing voids the warranty.
