Chainsaw starts and then dies
If you experience your chainsaw dying right after you have started it, there could be a few issues
Fill the chainsaw with fuel
Make sure that the product is filled with fuel and start the chainsaw.
Old or stale fuel
When storing your chainsaw over a short period of time, fuel can become stale.
If the product is stored with fuel in it, the fuel can become stale over time. This will result in the system getting clogged or restricted.

Before storing your chainsaw make sure that there is no fuel in it to prevent this sort of issue. Always use fresh fuel when you start using your chainsaw.
If you still experience your chainsaw starting and then dying, check the air filter. If the air filter is dirty or damaged, clean or replace it.

Chainsaw stalls or dies when turned sideways
If your chainsaw dies when turned sideways, it is usually because the fuel filter is held away from the fuel, as the position of the chainsaw changes. The fuel filter must be able to stay in the fuel as positions change.
Husqvarna chainsaws are equipped with fuel lines of specified lengths and flexibility along with weighted fuel filters. This allows the filter to "follow" the fuel and remain submerged. It is important to always use the correct fuel line and fuel filter for your specific chainsaw. You can find this information in the operator's manual.
Also, your chainsaw can die when turned sideways due to leakage or because the fuel lines need to be reset. In this case, please contact your local authorized dealer.
