Chainsaw storage tips
Before storing your Husqvarna chainsaw for the winter or a longer period, it must be cleaned and prepared for storage.
Here are some essential steps to follow:
Drain the fuel system
- To prevent fuel from leaking from your Husqvarna chainsaw during the storage period, drain the fuel from the product's tank into an appropriate container in a well-ventilated area.
- Clean the tank and let the chainsaw run at idle until it stops on its own.
Dismantle and clean the chainsaw
Take off the chainsaw chain and guide bar. Clean them and apply protective oil.
