Muffler

Improved and redesigned muffler, new robust materials for reduced heat conduit between muffler and crankshaft housing.

Cooling Duct (new)

Improved air flow thanks to an air canal through the crankcase.

Crankshaft (new)

Simplified crankshaft design, improved coupling attachment, and new design of main bearing – new engine layout results in a saw that performs better on low rpm.

Cylinder (new)

Optimized design of cylinder flanges and material distribution for optimal airflow and cooling.

New Air Injection™ nozzle

Improved air filtration and purification – prolonged lifetime.

Magnetic fuel filtration

Effectively prevents metal residue to enter the engine, to secure reliable operation.

Insulation wall (new)

New and improved insulation wall between cylinder and carburetor for reduced heat transference as well as to keep out dirt.

Outboard clutch placement

Outboard clutch allows placement of the bar closer to the center of the saw body, which improves handling and balance.

Retained bar nuts

The bar nuts stay in place and won’t fall off and get lost when clutch cover is removed.

Tough to beat.

Reliability is key

No more manual calibration for cold engines. Instead, you just put the start lever in ‘start’ position, purge, and then pull until the machine starts and then let it run. As easy as it should be.

New engine design

Among the many upgrades, the new design of the cylinder optimizes the airflow through the chainsaw. Together with a new insulation wall between cylinder and carburetor, this provides optimized cooling and reliable performance.

Excellent filtration

The superb filtration is a result of a combination of Air Injection™ and magnetic fuel filtration. The filtration results in reliable engine performance with excellent durability.
