Meeting climate demands with innovation

Climate change is a pressing challenge for us all. While we don't have all the answers, we're actively working towards a resource-smart and low-carbon future to reduce our reliance on traditional fuels. Our clear aim is to cut emissions by 35% across our value chain between 2015 and 2025, which was approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In fact, we are the world's first forest and garden company to do so.

Acting on our words

From nice to necessary

As urban green spaces become essential for environmental stability, professionals face new demands. Our "Re-thinking urban green spaces" report explores these challenges, drawing on insights from six European markets to envision the needs of the future.

Smart software solution

The Carbon Footprint Calculator, integrated into Husqvarna Fleet Services™, provides an emissions breakdown by area, category, engine type and location. This analysis equips our customers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

The grass is greener on our side

Automower® offers a modern solution to maintaining lawns. Unlike traditional fuel-powered mowers, it generates zero CO₂ emissions during use. If you have the option to use renewable electricity, even the battery charging can be low in emissions.

Future-proofed mowing

By optimizing tasks and reducing reliance on fossil fuel- powered mowers, CEORA™ revolutionizes the industry. A recent life cycle assessment revealed an 83% CO₂ reduction compared to diesel-powered counterparts, with the most impact seen during use.

Charge up for the better

The comprehensive 40V ecosystem of powerful 500-series battery-powered solutions has all the power and efficiency needed to maintain green areas. Low noise, no CO2 emissions during use or exhaust gases – just excellent results.

Working globally for local biodiversity

A garden full of different plants and pollinators like bees isn't just pretty — it's a biodiverse haven. This mini-ecosystem fends off pests naturally and creates a stronger, more resilient environment. To help create and sustain these ecosystems, we collaborate with experts for continuous learning and innovation, benefiting both us and our customers. And small changes can go a long way. For example, by leveraging the features of our robotic mowers, you can easily contribute to your garden's biodiversity.

Acting on our words

Careful lawn care

Robotic mowers, integrated with IFTTT, can be scheduled around the active times of nocturnal wildlife such as possums. This tailored approach facilitates a balance between maintaining green spaces and respecting the habits of local fauna.

Innovating for pollinators

The Rewilding Mode of our robotic lawn mowers gives nature an opportunity to flourish in your yard by reserving 10% of your lawn for the true heroes of biodiversity: pollinators such as bees, beetles and butterflies.

Creating circular solutions

Our planet's resources aren't endless and we need to be smarter about how we use them. That's why we're adopting a circular approach to our products and constantly trying to find new ways to get the most out of the materials we use. Our goal is to produce products that can have a second, third or even fourth life, whether through repair, remanufacturing or recycling. Because the best resources are the ones we can use again and again.
