How to talk to Automower® using Amazon Alexa
To use Amazon Alexa, you will need to connect your Automower®. If you need help connecting your Automower® Connect App to the Alexa App, get help here.
Once you have added your Automower® to Alexa, there are many ways to control the mower. Below are some examples of the commands you can say to Alexa to control your Automower®.
- Start
- Pause
- Park until further notice
- Resume according to schedule
You can also set up routines to integrate your Automower® into your Alexa controlled smart home.
To create an Automower® routine
- Sign in to the Alexa app on your smartphone.
- Tap the plus (+) button in the top right corner.
- Select Routine from the list.
- Select an event (the trigger that will activate your routine). Automower® status updates can now be used as events.
- Tap Add action to specify what you want Alexa to do.
- Tap Smart Home.
- Select your mower.
- Tap Select to choose what you want your mower to do.
- Add any other actions you want to include in your routine.
- Save your routine.
