How to clean your Husqvarna Automower® and Husqvarna CEORA™ robotic lawn mower

Clean your Husqvarna Automower® and Husqvarna CEORA™ robotic lawn mower and the charging station regularly for optimal performance and a long operational life. In addition to the regular cleaning, we recommend a thorough, professional cleaning at your dealer’s after each season.

Cleaning your Husqvarna robotic lawn mower

1. Turn off the robotic lawn mower.
2. Put on protective gloves.
3. Turn the product upside down.
4. Remove chunks of clippings using your hands, avoiding the skid plate and the blades.
5. Use a dishwashing brush to remove clippings from the skid plate, wheels, body etc.
6. Inspect the charging plates and clean them using a fine grade emery cloth if necessary.
7. Flip the product to get rid of the loose clippings.
8. Use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild soap solution to clean the chassis, body, panel etc.
9. Polish the plastic details using Automower® Care & Shine spray.

Note: Only use running water if your robotic lawn mower model supports easy cleaning. These models can be cleaned with a garden hose, including both the chassis and the body. Never use a high-pressure washer or solvents to clean the robotic lawn mower.

Cleaning the charging station

Regularly clean the charging station by following these steps:

1. Disconnect the power supply unit.
2. Remove grass, leaves, twigs and other objects that may impede docking.
3. Use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild soap solution to clean the surface of the charging station. If you have an Automower® NERA model, you can use running water to clean the charging station.
4. Inspect the contact plates and clean them using a fine grade emery cloth if necessary.
5. Polish the plastic details using Automower® Care & Shine spray.

Note: Never use a high-pressure washer or solvents to clean the charging station.

Easy cleaning with running water

If you own one of the Husqvarna robotic lawn mower models listed below, you can wash the exterior and underside of your robotic lawn mower with running water, for example, using a garden hose. The charging station on Automower® NERA models can also be cleaned with running water. For other models, do not use running water to clean the charging station.

Warning: Never use a high-pressure washer to clean the robotic lawn mower or the charging station.

Automower® Cleaning & Maintenance kit (part no. 590 85 51-01) makes cleaning and maintaining your robotic lawn mower easy. The kit includes:

• Two special brushes, one with a very slim and steep shape and the other with a small brush with a scraper for removing grass and dirt
• A screwdriver for changing cutting blades
• An abrasive pad to clean the connectors on the mower and charging station
• A towel
• A bottle of Automower® Care & Shine spray to make plastic parts shiny
