How to charge the starter battery on a petrol-powered garden tractor

Keeping the starter battery charged in your Husqvarna garden tractor is of the utmost importance as the product cannot be used without it.

  • Charge the battery if the charge level is insufficient.
  • Use a standard battery charger.

CAUTION: Do not use a booster charger or start booster. This will cause damage to the electrical system of the product.

  • Always disconnect the charger before starting the engine.

WARNING: Use protective gloves while performing this task.

  1. Turn off the product and remove the key from the ignition.
  2. The starter battery is located under the seat.
  3. Connect the positive clamp to the positive (red) terminal.
  4. Connect the negative clamp to the seat.
  5. Connect the charger to the mains socket and turn it on.
