Connecting a high-pressure washer to a water source

For your high-pressure washer to work optimally, you need to correctly connect it to the water source.

Your high-pressure washer can be used with water from water mains or water from an open water source, such as a water barrel or even a lake.

  1. Install the garden hose adapter to the water inlet on the product.
  2. Connect the garden hose to the water mains.
  3. Open the valve on the water mains and make sure that water can flow freely from the garden hose.
  4. Close the valve on the water mains.
  5. Connect the garden hose to the water inlet on the high-pressure washer.
  6. Connect the power plug to the power source.
  7. Hold the gun/spray handle tightly with one hand and push the high-pressure water hose into the quick connection on the gun/spray handle.
  8. Open the valve on the water mains.
  9. Bleed the system before you operate the product.

NOTE: In order for your high-pressure washer to work properly, you must use the correct hoses, water pressure and water temperature. You can find this information in the operator’s manual of your product.

Your high-pressure washer can be used with water from an open water source such as a lake or a water barrel.

  1. If the garden hose adapter is installed, remove it from the water inlet on the product.
  2. Connect a suction hose (not included) to the water inlet on the product.
  3. Place the suction hose in the water source and make sure that the filter is fully submerged.
  4. Push the tab in the direction of the quick connection on the spray handle and pull the high-pressure washer hose out. This varies depending on the model of your high-pressure washer.
  5. Connect the power plug to the power source.
  6. Turn the power switch to the on (I) position and allow the product to operate for 2 minutes.
  7. Turn the power switch to the off (0) position.
  8. Hold the gun/spray handle tightly with one hand and push the high-pressure water hose into the quick connection on the gun/spray handle.
  9. Bleed the system before you operate the product.
