Automower® robotic lawn mower not following scheduled cutting times

There are several reasons why your Automower® robotic lawn mower may not be operating according to schedule. Here is a guide to help you identify and resolve these issues.

Weather Timer is activatedThe Weather Timer feature automatically adapts cutting intervals to grass growth. If the grass hasn’t grown enough, the mower will return to the charging station, overriding the schedule.Disable the Weather Timer or change its sensitivity.

The mower is in standby mode (Today’s mowing complete)

The product has a maximum mowing time each day.
You can set the operating time in the schedule, which includes cutting, searching and charging.

The actual operating time can vary due to several factors, such as the layout of the work area, the grass growth and the age of the battery.


Once the mower has reached its maximum cutting time for the day, the message “Today’s mowing complete” will be displayed in the app. The mower will then enter standby mode until the next day.

This is normal and no action is required.No action
Frost Guard is activatedIf Frost Guard is activated, the mower will not start if the temperature is below 5°C/41°F.Disable Frost Guard.

Ensure that the charging station is in a shaded area and avoid operating the mower in extreme temperatures.

Charging station inside a stay-out zone (For models supporting AIM or EPOS Technology)

If the charging station is located in a stay-out zone, it will prevent the mower from operating.

Adjust the stay-out zone to ensure that the charging station is not within it.Automower® Connect > Map > Select map object > Edit

Depending on your Automower® model and specifications, some information may not apply to your product.
