Is normally viewed as a prolonged product purchase or a loan, where the customer pays for the product via monthly installments, including an interest fee. By the end of the lease, the customer must, or has the option to purchase the product at a pre-determined amount.

Always included is an up-to-date product to use, an insurance including theft protection, planned maintenance and software updates and repairs.
