Husqvarna unveils AI-ready platform of robotic mowers

Built from the ground up with a focus on performance, power and efficiency, the three new robotic mowers offer advanced autonomous capabilities, wire-free mowing, and selectable cutting patterns. These features enable businesses to effortlessly maintain their turf while saving time, cutting costs, and enhancing turf quality. The trio of new robotic mowers are designed in Sweden and manufactured in Europe.

A future-proof eco system for sports, golf and facility management The new platform is engineered to be future-proof, with the capability to incorporate new features as they become available. After launch, it will offer benefits like compatibility with a new solar panel charger for remote sites, tailored to work seamlessly with the platform. Furthermore, it is AI-ready, with its first applications being a camera that provides night vision and exceptional obstacle avoidance capabilities. The camera application will be available 2026 and compatible with the three new models.

The three models in Husqvarna’s groundbreaking new platform are tailored to meet the diverse needs of commercial users:

Golf

​Automower 580L EPOS: Geared towards golf courses and comes equipped with a low-cut disc enabling cutting heights down to 10mm. The powerful cutting, wire-free operation and selectable mowing patterns makes this model ideal for mowing fairways and roughs. This model is optimised for maximum uptime with remote start options.

Sports

Automower 580 EPOS: Primarily Designed for sports fields with its powerful cutting motor and large area capacity. It operates wire-free, enabling easy installation and maintenance. This model provides an additional layer of flexibility for sports turf management, catering to specific needs of turf height and playing conditions. Furthermore it comes with remote start capabilities to maximise uptime.  

Facility Management

Automower 560 EPOS: Tailored for facilities management, this model is optimised for maximum uptime with remote start options, providing enhanced operational flexibility. It also features wire-free mowing with selectable patterns, and a flexible front wheel axle making it a reliable choice for hilly, large, and complex landscapes

Husqvarna announces wire-free AWD robotic mower

Husqvarna, also introduces its latest edition to robotic turf care, Automower 535 AWD EPOS. As the boundary wire-free successor to the Automower 535 AWD, this reengineered model brings cutting-edge technology to commercial groundskeeping, with particular attention to hill mowing on golf courses and other large-scale facilities.

Designed to excel in rough, hilly and undulated terrain, Automower 535 AWD EPOS features all-wheel drive (AWD) for outstanding performance on the most demanding surfaces. Its capability to handle slopes of up to 70% makes it ideal for the rugged edges and roughs found on golf courses, where precision and durability are key. Whether managing the rough or maintaining demanding spaces close to bunkers or other features on the golf course, this mower is built to deliver a perfect cut in even the most difficult-to-reach areas.
