Get Your Pitch Right - Belstone FC Handover
We partnered with Glynne Cherrington; the founder of Belstone FC, as well as Ian Mather-Brewster; PAS at The Grounds Management Association for the first ever Get Your Pitch Right initiative, as Peter Crouch hands over the Automower 550. Together we aim to enhance clubs and communities, driving the importance of quality turf care on and off the pitch, by gifting robotic mowers and providing the expertise and support needed to elevate grassroots sports clubs nationwide.
For the first collaboration of the Get Your Pitch Right initiative we have teamed up with Belstone FC to handover the Automower 550. Huge Congratulations to them and their founder Glynne Cherrington, Belstone FC are such a deserving club and we can't wait to see their development over the coming months and years. We are delighted to have Peter Crouch, our Husqvarna ambassador do the honours and hand over the Automower. The initiative is in partnership with the Grounds Management Association(GMA) who will share their training, knowledge and expertise in order to help elevate Belstone to reach the next level.
As part of the programme Husqvarna will donate robotic mowers to chosen grassroots clubs and communities, offering them enhanced pitch maintenance and expert advice from the GMA’s team. Many grassroots sports clubs depend heavily on their dedicated volunteers, but often lack the funds or resources needed for maintaining community pitches—an issue that Husqvarna and the GMA are committed to addressing together.
