Outside work area – Automower® error message

The message Outside work area is shown when the robotic lawn mower detects a loop signal that claims the product is outside, not inside, the work area.

Common causes:

• The boundary wire is placed too close to a slope or other obstacle (should normally be a minimum margin of 35 cm).
• The boundary wire is connected to the wrong pin in the charging station (causing the loop signal to be "outside-in").
• The boundary wire is installed in the wrong direction around an island (causing the loop signal to be "outside-in").
• The virtual boundary (for EPOS™ models) is placed too close to a slope or other obstacle.
