How to use a foam sprayer on a high-pressure washer

For better cleaning results, you can use detergent with your high-pressure washer.

Depending on the model of your high-pressure washer, it can have a separate foam sprayer or a built-in detergent tank.

How to use a foam sprayer on a high-pressure washer

  1. Remove the foam sprayer from its holder.
  2. Fill the container on the foam sprayer with a cleaning agent. CAUTION: Use only cleaning agents that are recommended by Husqvarna.
  3. Push the coupling on the foam sprayer into the gun/spray handle and spray lance, depending on the model of the product. Turn the foam sprayer clockwise and release the foam sprayer. The foam sprayer locks in position.
  4. Connect the product to the water source
  5. Bleed the product
  6. Start the product.
  7. Turn the knob on the foam sprayer to adjust how much foam is used. Turn the knob clockwise to use more foam. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to use less foam. You will find this feature only on some high-pressure washer models.
  8. Turn the nozzle cover to adjust the foam spray pattern; clockwise for a smaller foam spray pattern and counter-clockwise for a wider foam spray pattern. You will find this feature only on some high-pressure washer models.
  1. Remove the detergent tank from the holder.
  2. Fill the detergent tank with a cleaning agent. CAUTION: Use only cleaning agents that are recommended by Husqvarna.
  3. Make sure that the cap is fully tightened.
  4. Put the container back on the product.
  5. Gently install the nozzle on the spray lance. Turn the pressure to the lowest setting, counter-clockwise.
  6. Connect the product to a water source
  7. Bleed the high-pressure washer
  8. Start the product.
  9. Turn the knob on the product to adjust how much foam is used. Turn the knob clockwise to use more foam. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to use less foam.
