To keep your Husqvarna garden tractor in good condition, make sure tat you replace the oil filter each season.

Before you change the oil filter, you need to drain the oil from the garden tractor.

1. Drain the engine oil. You can find a step-by-step guide in a section above.
2. Turn the oil filter counter-clockwise to remove it.
3. Lightly lubricate the rubber seal on the new oil filter with fresh engine oil.
4. Turn the oil filter clockwise by hand until the rubber seals in position, then tighten a half turn more.
5. Fill the engine with fresh engine oil.
6. Start the engine and let it operate at idle speed for 3 minutes.
7. Stop the engine and make sure that there is no oil leakage from the oil filter.
