How to add and control Automower® with the Automower® Connect app
The Automower® Connect app allows you to control your robotic lawn mower from your mobile device. It is easy to start, stop, park, check and adjust your mower’s settings from the app. Depending on the model, Automower® robotic lawn mowers use different technologies to connect to the app, which allows for different capabilities.
Connection options and capabilities
Bluetooth (Automower® Connect@Home)
Allows you to control your mower when it is within Bluetooth range (30 metres/100 feet).
Wi-Fi
Allows you to control your mower remotely when the mower is within Wi-Fi range. Start, stop, track its position, change settings and receive alarms—all via your smartphone. Learn more about which models support Wi-Fi and how to add a Wi-Fi network.
Mobile network
Allows you to control your mower remotely when the mower has mobile network coverage. Start, stop, track its position, change settings and receive alarms—all via your smartphone.
Temporary connection (Automower® Direct)
For mowers produced in 2018 or later (except Automower®105), you can use Bluetooth for a temporary connection to Automower® Connect. No account login is required, but you need to establish a new connection and enter the mower PIN each time.
- Ensure that location services and Bluetooth are enabled on your mobile device. See: Enable location services and Bluetooth access.
- Open the app and select Automower® Direct.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

Getting started with Automower® Connect
- Download the Automower® Connect app: Available on Google Play and the App Store for both iOS and Android devices.
- Create a Husqvarna account:
- Open the app and tap Sign up to create a new account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Good to know:
- If you already have a Husqvarna Group account (Husqvarna Connect, Fleet Services or MyPages), you can use your existing login information to access Automower® Connect.
- It is not necessary to have an account to use the Automower® Connect app to control your Automower® robotic lawn mower. For a temporary connection to your robotic lawn mower without a Husqvarna account, select the option Automower® Direct when opening the app.
Add your mower to the app
- Open the app and log in.
- If it is your first mower, select Add mower. Otherwise, go to More > My Mowers and tap the plus (+) sign.
- Select your Automower® model and follow the pairing instructions.

How many mowers can I add to Automower® Connect?
You can add any number of mowers to the app. For managing a fleet, use Husqvarna Fleet Services.
Automower® Connect kit accessory
The Automower® Connect kit allows the robotic lawn mower to connect to the Husqvarna Cloud via the mobile network, enabling you to control it remotely using the app and smart home services.

How to check if your Automower® robotic lawn mower has an Automower® Connect kit installed
If you are unsure whether your mower already has an Automower® Connect kit installed, follow these steps:
- Open the main menu on the mower control panel.
- Select Accessories.
- If your mower has an Automower® Connect kit installed, one of the options that can be enabled in the menu is Automower® Connect.
