How to remove the body of Automower® 310E NERA and 410XE NERA

Follow these steps to remove the top cover and body of Automower® 310E NERA and 410XE NERA, for example if your robotic lawn mower requires thorough cleaning.

Removing the top cover and body

1. Press the STOP button to stop the product.
2. If required, enter the PIN code. Hold down the jog wheel for 3 seconds to turn the mower off. Alternatively, you can use the jog wheel to select Power off from the display menu.
3. Ensure that the LED indicator on the jog wheel is not illuminated.
4. Lift the top cover from the rear and pull it upwards.

5. Place one hand over the plastic cover surrounding the display and the jog wheel to keep the mower stable on the ground. Be careful not to press down on the jog wheel.
6. With your other hand, hold the chassis at the rear and lift the body with a quick, short upward pull.

7. Hold the front wheel with one hand and remove the front part of the body with a quick, short upward pull. Repeat with the other wheel.

8. Position the body of the mower next to the chassis or lean it against a wall.

Installing the body

1. Align the body with the chassis and press into position.
2. Align the top cover with the slots in the body of the mower and press the top cover into position.
