How to install a mulch plug/cover to a garden tractor

Your Husqvarna garden tractor comes with a large range of attachments which you can use for different tasks. If you want to use the product for mulching, you will need to use the mulch plug.

CAUTION: For safety reasons, wear protective gloves while performing this task.

Installing a mulch plug on a garden tractor

1. Park the product on level ground.
2. Turn off the product and remove the key from the ignition.
3. Take the collector off the garden tractor.
4. Lower the cutting deck to the lowest position.
5. Insert the mulch plug into the chute in the back of the product.
6. Secure the mulch plug by attaching it to the product.
7. Put the collector back in its place.

Installing a mulch cover on a garden tractor

1. Park the product on level ground.
2. Turn off the product and remove the key from the ignition.
3. Engage the parking brake.
4. Lift the side chute.
5. Position the mulch cover to fit the pin on the top.
6. Fasten the screws on each side.
