How to charge the starter battery on a petrol-powered garden tractor
Keeping the starter battery charged in your Husqvarna garden tractor is of the utmost importance as the product cannot be used without it.
- Charge the battery if the charge level is insufficient.
- Use a standard battery charger.
CAUTION: Do not use a booster charger or start booster. This will cause damage to the electrical system of the product.
- Always disconnect the charger before starting the engine.
WARNING: Use protective gloves while performing this task.

- Turn off the product and remove the key from the ignition.
- The starter battery is located under the seat.
- Connect the positive clamp to the positive (red) terminal.
- Connect the negative clamp to the seat.
- Connect the charger to the mains socket and turn it on.

- Turn off the product and remove the key from the ignition.
- The starter battery is located under the seat.
- Connect the positive clamp to the positive (red) terminal.
- Connect the negative clamp to the seat.
- Connect the charger to the mains socket and turn it on.
If the starter battery loses charge often, replace it.
