Can I create stay-out zones and work areas using the mower display?

Only applies to Automower® models that support AIM technology:

You can edit the schedule for your entire lawn from the mower display. This corresponds to the virtual map called My Lawn in the Automower® Connect app.

To add and edit stay-out zones and work areas (if supported by your mower), you need the Automower® Connect app.

If you make changes to the schedule using the mower display, it could mean that the mower will mow the whole lawn regardless of the work areas you have created in the app.

Please note that the area settings under Installation > Lawn coverage in the mower display are not related to AIM technology, so they will not affect the work areas created using AIM technology.
