Why is my BLi-X battery draining too fast?

When performing a task with a battery-powered product, you may find that your Husqvarna BLi-X battery is draining faster than expected.

Reasons for BLi battery draining too fast

• The ambient temperature is too low. The BLi-X battery will not perform at its full capacity when the battery cell temperature is too far below 10°C.
• The battery has lost its initial capacity, since an ageing battery may not hold its charge as effectively. In addition, there is loss of about several percent capacity per year even if you have not used your battery as much.
• You have chosen a battery with too little battery capacity for your tool. Check the runtime table to choose the right battery for the right application.
• There might be an issue with your cutting equipment or the product itself.
• You might not be using the product for the task it was designed for. For example, cutting tall grass with a battery-powered walk-behind mower requires more power.

You can prolong battery runtime by activating the ECO mode and not using the boost mode on, for example, your leaf blower.
