Bli-X battery charger error LED flashing—what it means and how to fix it
Seeing a flashing LED on your Husqvarna BLi-X battery charger? This guide will help you understand what the different light signals mean and how to resolve common issues during battery charging.
What the charging LED lights mean on a BLi-X battery charger?
The LED indicators on your BLi-X battery charger provide important information about charging status and potential issues.
Here is what to look for:
Flashing green LED: Battery temperature out of range
If the green LED on your BLi-X battery charger is blinking, your battery is too hot or too cold to begin charging.
Solution:
- Leave the battery in the charger. Charging will begin automatically when the battery reaches a safe temperature.
- Make sure you are charging the battery in an area between 5°C (41°F) and 40°C (104°F).
- The battery itself will not begin charging if its internal temperature is below 5°C (41°F) or above 50°C (122°F).
- Tip: For best results, store and charge your battery at room temperature in a dry, indoor space.
Flashing red LED: Charging error or fault detected
A red flashing LED on your BLi-X charger may indicate a charging fault or communication issue between the battery and charger.
Solution:
- Disconnect the battery from the charger.
- Unplug the charger from the wall outlet.
- Wait 2–5 minutes to reset the charger system.
- Reconnect the charger, then insert the battery again.
If the red LED continues to flash:
Contact your local authorised Husqvarna dealer for assistance. The battery or charger may require inspection or service.
Solid red LED: Charger malfunction or battery fault
A solid red light on your BLi-X charger typically indicates a serious issue with a charger or battery.
- Unplug the charger and wait a few minutes.
- Reconnect the charger and try again.
If the red light appears again:
Stop using the charger and contact your local authorised Husqvarna dealer for future diagnostics.
