How to install a mulch kit on your Husqvarna lawn mower

Follow this guide to install a mulch kit on your Husqvarna lawn mower. Remember that blades are sharp, so protect your hands with gloves and/or wrap the blades with a heavy cloth.

Guide to installing your mulch kit

  1. Remove the spark plug connector
  2. Remove the collector
  3. Flip the lawnmower on its side, so that the air filter is pointing up and the muffler down
  4. Loosen and remove the blade bolt and dismount the blade
  5. Mount the mulch blade and tighten the bolt
  6. Use a wooden block to stop the blade from moving
  7. Use a torque wrench to tighten and secure the bolt to 70 NM
  8. Attach the mulch plug
  9. Reattach the spark plug connector
